PHYSICAL DISCRIPTION::Peeta Taylor is played by: Josh Hutcherson. He stands at 5’9” and is approximately 160 pounds. His hair is a light brown color and is normally kept at an average length. Not too short, but not too long as well. He tends to keep it flat, unless he’s attending something special, in which case he might style it a little more. His eyes are hazel, ranging from green to blue, when not hungry. When he is hungry they get black as night, as if the pupils can’t be seen anymore. Unlike his brother, he puts a little more effort into his clothing. He dresses nice for his age, more grown up as well. He tends to wear clothes that look almost brand new, although that’s just thanks to the fact that he takes care of them. He tends to wear jeans, more often than not. Shirts can range from button-ups, to long sleeves, to short sleeves, anything really; as long as it looks nice. For shoes, he likes to wear boots. Not cowboy or work boots, but those fashionable boots that you can see on the feet of celebrities. A ring graces his right pointer finger to protect him from the suns rays. Thanks to his vampire attributes, the tan that once graced his skin has made him a little pale, though the look of a small tan is still seen.

*Video Games: They are fun and one of the things he can’t beat his twin at
*Traveling: He wants to see the world, and now thanks to his immortality he’ll be able too!
*Movies: Any book that he reads, he always sees the movie. He also just likes watching any type of genre. Though sometimes he tends to stay away from chick flicks.
*Youth: He’ll be young forever and that’s just amazing.
*Music: Plain and simple. But of course, the louder, the better.

*Food: Can’t really stomach it after the change, which sucks because he use to love to eat as he was basically a hollow leg.
*Death: He could only imagine the pain that would have to happen to him in order to die. Suffice to say, he hopes that NEVER happens.

*Time management: Ever since he was human he always got things done in time. He wanted to b able to have free time once assignments were complete.
*Listener: Thanks to his brother bossing him around when they were younger, he tends to fall into a listening phase, where he will just sit and let people talk.
*Speed: He’s a vampire with accelerated speed. How awesome is that?! He can always outrun his brother.
*Lover and Fighter: Even though his brother took most of his fights when he was younger, now that he is a vampire he can hold his own. But that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t having a loving personality.

*Follower: With his twin being a leader, someone had to be a follower. More often than not, that was him.
*Swimming: He too cannot swim. Though he hopes to change that in the near future. A vampire should be able to breathe underwater should he not?!
*Push-over: Peeta is really easy to convince. Just give one valid point and he will basically do whatever you want him to do.
*OCD: Everything has to be perfect. This can really get on some peoples nerves
*Falling in love: I know what you think. Falling in love? But when he falls, he falls hard and that girl would be able to break his heart super easily if she did something wrong to him.

*Lightning and thunder: This came from nowhere really. One storm he was perfectly fine and the next he was hiding in his closet away from everything.

HOBBIES::
*Fighting his brother: They just play fight. Nothing too rough, but now they can roughhouse without getting too hurt. Plus, they heal fast. “Dammit, Chase” is also one of his favorite sayings.
*Hanging with friends: No matter where he is, he likes to surround himself with others and it helps get his mind off the constant hunger.
*Reading: He will read anything, anywhere. Even when he is with friends.
GENERAL::
Peeta’s personality is pretty straightforward. He never really varies from the nice gentleman-like guy that his parents raised him to be. Living with how his brother acts, has left him a very patient guy since he sometimes has shut up while Chase gets his anger out. This patience has transferred over and helped him in many situations where it would be greatly needed. Helping his brother in school and himself has made him a very hard worker. Now, he works hard at everything he does. He wants to make sure he keeps good grades and makes sure everything he does runs as smoothly as it can.

As far as how he acts around peers, friends, teachers, and family, he treats all with respect. To girls he acts like a complete gentleman. He does understand flirting and that of the like, but he doesn't like when girls push themselves on him. He knows he looks handsome, he overhears the comment he and his brother have gotten, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. He takes compliments and gives them right back. He doesn’t act all conceited about his looks like some guys would, instead he only really talks about his body when someone asks him about it, otherwise you will find him not showing off.

While Chase can be quiet around those he doesn’t know, for he doesn’t often speak to others first, once someone gets him talking he can talk quite a bit. Not to the point where people are annoyed but to the point to hold up a decent and long lasting conversation. He likes going to parties, as long as they don’t involve drugs, alcohol, and sex. He thinks sex should be with the one you really plan on staying with forever. No one night stands for this fella.

Along with all this good stuff about this guy, there are also some bad things. He does have a mean bone in his body, can be assumed from the way his brother always stood up for him even when Peeta wanted to deal with it himself, but you really have to dig deep or really piss him off to get to it. While he does hate stubborn people, he can be stubborn himself, especially if you give him a task because he will try to complete it no matter how hard it is. He has had his heartbroken by a girl a couple years ago. He loved her and he thought she loved him but one night he found her sleeping with another guy. He was super committed to her though and worked through that night but when it happened again and then she broke up with him he got really hurt. He has learned from this though, and tries not to be too committed into a relationship if he feels the girl isn’t giving the same amount of commitment.

HISTORY::
Cade Taylor was a charming young man when he left Collision Falls right after graduating from the academy. Many opposed his move, but he knew he had to travel; he couldn’t be stuck there anymore. His family always said that he could come back when he wanted and with their permission, and money, he left. He was only gone a couple years when he found the love of his life, a human girl by the name of Elizabeth, in London. He fell for her beauty, intelligence, and accent. He told her his secret of being a shifter; surprisingly enough, Elizabeth didn’t run. She had traces of shifter way back in her history as well. It didn’t appear in her generation though. A year after meeting, they married. The wedding was grand and both parents were excited for it. They honeymooned in Paris. Three months later, they found out that Elizabeth was pregnant with twins.

Knowing that their kids could have the potential of being inhuman, the duo flew back to Collision Falls so that their kids could grow up among others like them. When it was finally time for Elizabeth to give birth, they rushed to the hospital. Only twelve hours later little Chase and Peeta were born. Of course, they couldn’t tell if their sons had any powers just yet. But both parents hoped they did, they wouldn’t be upset if they didn’t though. The two brothers grew up close as ever. Peeta kept the traits of being a positive and gentle soul. Chase on the other hand started to get a bit rambunctious and stubborn. The parents would wonder if it was their doing and if the way they parented was bad.

Chase would always protect Peeta when in school. At first Peeta would get annoyed by this, but when it started getting bad, he just let it happen. At this time, he was a bit shorter than his brother and didn’t have much muscle. Where as Peeta would sit to the front and behave, Chase would sit to the back and misbehave. On their 14th birthday one of Chase’s friends started picking on Peeta. He was extremely shocked when he saw his brother changing into an Inland Taipan. His eyes had widened and he had backed away even though the snake was focused on the boy that had been previously messing with him.

Chase would’ve killed his friend, who unbeknownst to the family, had it not been for his friend being a vampire. The hard skin of his friend didn’t allow his fangs to pierce the skin. Before his son could hurt anyone, Cade gently picked him up, making sure to stay away from the striking bites of his son, and placed him in the bathroom. Once the snake was gone, Elizabeth sent everyone home, after making sure that the kid Chase had struck was fine. She then got to explaining what exactly was going on with Chase to Peeta. He was shocked, but after a bit was okay with it. He was sad that he didn’t get any powers and that he wouldn’t get any later on in life.

As his brother was sent away to a different school, Peeta found himself getting picked on again. But he was starting to bulk up, getting taller, and actually getting some muscle. It wasn’t long before the other guys just started to leave him alone. It was a pretty good life and he and his brother would hang out on the weekends, since Chase had to live at the academy.

Two years passed by fairly quickly in the house and it wasn’t long before the twins were eighteen. For their birthday, Cade allowed Chase to go to the secret area that only inhumans could get to. Unbeknownst to Chase, Peeta followed him. After all, he wanted to see what was so special about this place that Chase was allowed to go to it and he wasn’t. He stuck to the shadows, a few paces behind his brother. He didn’t want to be seen by him. His eyes would scan everything that he passed. He was really surprised about what this place hid. When his brother passed through a narrow side street, Peeta hesitated a moment before stepping in as well. That little hesitation was what cost him. From above, a guy came down and landed behind him. The guy grabbed Peeta around the neck and slammed him against the wall.

He was talking extremely fast, something about laws and free food. But even though Peeta couldn’t understand the man he knew his life was in danger. He started calling out as the man started squeezing tighter and tighter on his neck. Peeta heard a slight footstep and turned his head as the vampire did. He had figured out this guy was a vampire as fangs started appearing gradually. As Chase took a step forward, Peeta felt the other vampires grip change as he swung him around so he was facing his brother. He could feel the tip of the fangs, and he gripped the guys arm trying to rip it off him although the attempt was futile. As he watched his brother change into a dingo, he felt the fangs dig into his neck. He cried out in pain before falling unconscious. His breath was very slow and he could barely make out someone calling out and touching his arm. Time passed very slowly and he could feel the life leaving his body. He let out one more strangled breath before his heart stopped. What felt like years passed before his mind started working again and his heart started beating. His eyes flipped open widely as he gulped in air.

Sitting next to him was a girl, who told him her name was Anne. She went into explaining what had happened when he had died. She had feed him her blood and since she was a vampire it had brought him back to life. He was grateful but also very shocked at this news. It was then that his brother and dad came into the alley in their shifter forms. They shifted back and Anne explained to them what she had done and that he had to learn how to hunt before he went crazy and killed some innocent human. Peeta left with Anne to learn how to hunt, while his dad and brother went back home. Hunting came easily to Peeta and by nightfall he was full on the blood of animals since Anne wouldn’t let him get near any humans in his bloodhungered state, and back home.

When he arrived back home, the scent of human blood was intoxicating and he found his hunger returning slightly. It was to be expected though since they lived on a street full of humans. His brother was already enrolled in the academy and the next day, Cade enrolled Peeta there as well. With both boys in the same school they once again started to become close. This time though, they were both equally matched in strength, so Chase doesn’t have to protect Peeta anymore. He’s only had one incident so far in which the bloodhunger took over resulting in the deaths of three innocents. Since that day, Peeta hasn’t stepped foot within a mile of any human.
