PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION::
- Ryder is a rather tall, and built man. He works out regularly, and has the body to prove it. Ryder stands at six foot two inches, and weighs around two hundred and twenty pounds. His weight is mostly muscle. His skin in naturally tanned from working outside, and his eyes are a light green. At times they can be mistaken for blue, and even depending on his mood, they can be. Ryder has black hair, and tends to keep it on the shorter side, but not shaved down. Ryder is also known for the beard he grows. He keeps the beard neat, and clean, and never allows it to get out of control. As for his style in clothes, Ryder tends to wear jeans and a t shirt. He isn’t much on fashion, but more of comfort. Ryder pretty much looks good in anything he wears.

Shift Forcing: This is Ryder’s common ability. With this ability Ryder is able to force a shifter to shift. When this ability was first developed Ryder had to have physical contact with whomever he was forcing into a shift. As he grew older, and had more practice with it, he is able to this with a little concentration, and a visual on the person. Another aspect of this ability is that while Ryder can force a full on shift, he can also force just little things such as bringing out claws, or tails. This ability can be used to help young shifters learn to control their ability, and that’s exactly what Ryder does with it. If a shifter can’t control how and when they shift, Ryder can force a small shift, and teach them how to reign it back in until they master it.
Shift Cancellation: This is Ryder’s specific ability. While forcing a shift seems difficult, canceling one out is even more so. Like his other ability, Ryder started out needing physical contact with a shifter in order to prevent a shift. Now, Ryder simply needs to have visual on them, and a deep concentration. It is more difficult to do when he and the potential shifter are moving. When this ability is in effect, the shifter in question will be “thrown” out of their shift, and back to their human form. They would be unable to shift for ten to fifth teen minutes, give or take. Now, Ryder can also prevent the shift from happening while they are still in human form as well. If he thinks that a student is going to shift, and cause harm to others, Ryder will cancel out all shifts in the student. This could last anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour. Ryder also uses this ability to help younger shifters learn control.

Black Wolf: Ryder is able to shift into a north American black wolf, and is very much in tune with his wolf side. In his wolf form, Ryder is rather large, and would be considered an alpha male. Ryder has several traits of a wolf that carry over to his human side. Loyalty runs deep in his veins. Once you are in his pack, he’ll defend you with his last breath. Ryder’s eye sight, sense of smell, and hearing are heightened because of his wolf. He sees, hears, and smells things much more clearer than they average human would. Ryder also has great stamina, and can work out or run for hours if he wanted too. One thing that seems to stick out about Ryder’s shift is the intense blue eyes that his wolf has. Ryder has the ability to control this shift very well. He can take parts of his shift, and use them without fully shifting such as his teeth, or paws. This takes quite a bit of concentration on his part. When Ryder takes his patrol on campus it is typically as his wolf.
