ALEXANDERblaineCRAWFORD
HUMAN
I want to fly
Can you take me far away
Give me a star to reach for
Tell me what it takes
And I’ll go so high
I’ll go so high
My feet won’t touch the ground
I stitch my wings
And pull the strings
I bought these dreams
That all fall down
I want to fly
Can you take me far away
Give me a star to reach for
Tell me what it takes
And I’ll go so high
I’ll go so high
My feet won’t touch the ground
I stitch my wings
And pull the strings
I bought these dreams
That all fall down

As for his sense of style, it can vary depending on his mood. Due to his job, Alex typically goes for something easy to move in, and comfortable. Often jeans and a regular t-shirt is his choice. GENERAL::
- Like most people, Alex has a rather complex personality. Alex comes off as arrogant to everyone he meets, and is never one to back down from a fight. Alex could be considered a selfish man, but deep down he’d sacrifice himself for the right person. Despite his background, and his hate for anything supernatural, Alex has a weak spot for children of any species. It’s the one thing he refuses to do, and would kill someone in a heartbeat who dare lay a hand on a child. Alex can be a bit of an ass to everyone he meets, except one special girl. Very rarely will he watch what he says, and doesn’t care if he hurts anyone’s feelings. He’d rather be honest than a liar.
Alex has also been known to be a charmer. He considers himself very persuasive, and that he can get anyone to do what he wants. He’s a bit cocky like that. Alex also fancies himself a ladies man, but deep down he knows that there is only one girl for him. On a darker note, Alex has quite the temper on him. He can be quick to anger, and tends to get violent when he is pissed. He doesn’t aim it at anyone in particularly. Mainly a wall, or perhaps whoever he is hunting at the time. With all this, Alex is also intelligent, and has a rather high I.Q., and also has street smarts to go with it. So one moment he could be the classiest person you’ve met to a “thug” robbing you blind. With people he cares about, Alex tends to get over protective, and would do everything to make sure they don’t get hurt.

HISTORY::
- This is not a story of happiness. Taslyn Crawford didn’t have an easy life. She had been born into the family business of being a killer for hire. Both her parents had met on the job, and opted to have a child to carry on the family name, and legacy. Taslyn did just that. She grew into her family name, and went on to become a mercenary just like her parents. She had been out on assignment when she had met Blaine. He had been handsome, and charming. When she was with him, Taslyn believed that she could leave this life she had, and settle down with him. Well, little did she know that he was just like her. The had been in town for the same person.
After their one night together, they went on to complete the job they had been given. Taslyn had been sent their to kill two men. One would be protecting the main target, a rather powerful witch. When she had arrived late that night to the hotel, Taslyn had not expected to see Blaine. They had stared at each other for a long while until the witch had finally yelled to Blaine to kill Taslyn, and get it over with. Taslyn intended to finish the job she had come here to do, so she and Blaine fought at hand to hand combat. Taslyn had managed to wound Blaine, and find her target. Taslyn had killed the witch, but left Blaine injured.
When she had walked away from Blaine that night, she hadn’t expected to keep a piece of him with her. After several months, and a dozen more assignments, Taslyn discovered she was pregnant. Taslyn was unsure of what she should do, so she confided in her best friend, another killer for hire. Taslyn told the girl that she had met another mercenary while on assignment, and they had a one night stand. The girl had advised Taslyn to get rid of the child, but for some reason she couldn’t. This child could be her way out. She had plenty of money, and could take care of him without having to take another job. Taslyn informed her parents that she was with child. They didn’t give her the reaction she had been hoping for. They told her, just like her friend, to get rid of the child. Having a child would be a burden, and she would be unable to have a life outside of one. To say she was shocked was an understatement. She refused to get rid of her child, and was subsequently disowned from her family.
It was a few short months later that she gave birth to a baby boy, whom she named Alexander Blaine. Taslyn had managed to find a small house for a cheap price, and raised her son there. Alex’s life was rather simple. His mother gave him almost everything he needed, and wanted without spoiling him too much. When Alex was four years old, his mother started leaving for long periods of time, and would leave him with a sitter. Taslyn had needed extra cash flow, and had decided to take one more job. Well, this job would certainly be her last, and most difficult. She had been paid nicely to take out a nest of vampires, and she had managed to get most of them except for two. Thinking that they wouldn’t follow her, Taslyn believed it was safe to go home.
Well, Taslyn had been very wrong. They had followed her, but they were waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Shortly after Alex’s 5th birthday, Taslyn had told him that she was pregnant with his baby sister. Alex had been thrilled to learn that he would have a little sister. A few months later, baby Finely had been born. Alex was the best big brother any kid could ask for. He took care of Finely when his mother was in her room talking on the phone, or when she needed to go out for the night. Alex had over heard one night, his mother talking to someone on the phone about how they were after her, and she needed help. He could remember her crying into the phone that she had two kids to think of now, and they weren’t safe. Alex didn’t know what was going on, but he felt sad for his mom.
One night, a few months before his sixth birthday, is when the vampires struck. They came in during the middle of the night, and Alex had woken to his mother’s screams. He had ran into her room to see her fighting off two monstrous creatures. He vividly remembered her yelling for him to take Finley, and hide. When Alex had ran to Finley, he was met with a vampire. She was standing between him and baby Finley. Alex had tried to get to Finley before the vampire, but he just hadn’t been fast enough. His mother had screamed as the vampire killed baby Fin, and then screamed for him to run as fast as he could. Alex couldn’t move for several moments. Finally, he had managed to get his feet to move, and move he did. He didn’t stop. He didn’t know where to go, but he kept running. When he finally did stop running, he had collapsed to his knees, and cried. He had laid in an alleyway for hours before someone had found him.
When he was questioned about where he had come from, and where his mother was, Alex couldn’t speak. He had been unable to tell them who he was, or where the his mother and sister were. Eventually, they had discovered his name, but no one came to claim him. His mother came for him, and neither did anyone else. Without much of an option, Alex was placed into an orphanage at the age of six. His first few years there, he had been quiet. He didn’t speak to anyone, and many thought that he might have been a mute. That was until one day, when he was eight, another boy had spoke ill of his mother. Of course, the boy hadn’t known that his mother had died a horrible death, but that hadn’t stopped him from attacking him. Alex had beat the boy to the point of almost being in a coma. Many of the adults realized that he wasn’t mute at all; he was just very angry. From that day forward, no one had messed with Alex. He had gotten a reputation for being scary, and aggressive.
Everything changed for Alex when he was twelve. A new girl had arrived at the orphanage, and my had she been a feisty one. Alex hadn’t wanted to leave her alone, so he didn’t. He constantly bothered her, and wanted her attention. Well, he had finally gotten it after he had scared away a few boys that had cornered her. After that they had become attached at the hip. As he grew older, his feelings for Ronnie had only grown stronger. Alex wasn’t sure what it meant to like someone as much as he had liked Ronnie, and it kind of terrified him. He wasn’t sure how he was suppose to treat her. He had never had a real man in his life to teach him how to properly treat a lady. Nonetheless, Alex tried his best to make sure that Ronnie liked him, and never got bored with him.
Around the time he had been fifth teen, Alex had started receiving letters from an anonymous woman. She had wrote to him, telling him about his mother, and what she had been murdered by. Alex had a hard time believing what this woman wrote to him. Deep down, he knew it was true, but he just didn’t want to believe that something like this was true. The woman claimed that she had been his mother’s best friend, and that his mother had been disowned when she had become pregnant with him. She gave Alex the name of his father, and where he could find him. Alex had tucked his letters in a safe place, and forgot about them for a few months. His time had become preoccupied with Ronnie, and his feelings for her. They shared secret kisses, and touches with each other. There had been late nights, and secret meetings in closets. It had been heaven for Alex. Right before his seventeenth birthday, Ronnie disappeared in the night.
She hadn’t told Alex goodbye, or even said where she was going. She just left. After Veronica had left, Alex had gotten angry. He would pick fights with anyone and everyone. It had gotten to the point where he had put another boy in a coma. Then and there, Alex had been arrested. He was no longer welcome at the orphanage, and had spent the remaining time in jail until he was eighteen. Once he had been released, Alex was handed whatever possessions he had from the orphanage. This included the address that his father was at. With nothing but the clothes on his back, Alex made his way to his father.
Alex arrived just outside Manchester to a rather large facility. When he walked in, looking ragid and rough people curled their noses up at him. They all looked different. Their posture, and pointed attitudes made Alex uncomfortable. He walked up to what looked like a front desk, and tossed out the name Blaine Harold, and the woman immediately perked up. She made a few calls, then asked him to go into a waiting area. Hours later an older man walked in, and his jaw dropped. Alex had introduced himself as Alexander Crawford, and a woman had told him in a letter that Blaine was his father. Once Alex was done telling the man his whole life story, and that his mother and sister had died years ago, the man then introduced himself as Blaine. He took Alex towards a housing facility, and told him to wash up. They had a lot to talk about over dinner, and that’s what Alex did. Once the two met back up, Blaine explained to Alex what he did for a living, and what his mother had done for a living as well.
After dinner, Blaine asked Alex if would be interested in taking up the family business, and Alex agreed eagerly. Alex took to training the next week, and he did this for the next two years. His physical training wasn’t the hard part; it had been his education. He had to learn about the different species, how to identify them, and what could kill them. He also began taking basic classes to get his GED. By the time he was twenty years old, Alex was a certified killing machine with a high school diploma, and top of his class for training. He also got his first job at twenty years old. It wasn’t as exciting as some of his future jobs, but he enjoyed it nonetheless. His first kill was six months later, and it had been a rather dangerous shifter. During this time, Alex would think of Veronica. He would think of where she was, and what she was doing. Was she even alive? Alex didn’t save himself on the off chance he ever saw her again, but he never got into a serious relationship. Just little flings here, and there.
Just after his twenty first birthday, Alex moved away from the training facility. He actually went out to the house that he and his mother use to live in, and bought it for a rather cheap price. He began fixing it up, and restoring it to what he had known. While he had been cleaning it up, he had found something hidden in the closet by a secret compartment. Alex dug it out, and it had been money. Lots and lots of money with a note written by his mother.
Alexander and Finley,
My dearest children, if you are reading this it means that I am long gone, and you have returned to your home. I’m sorry to have done this to you both, but I had no other way of supporting us. If you are question what happened to me, I beg you not to seek the answers. This is not a life I would have chosen for myself, and I certainly wouldn’t want it for my children. I’ve done terrible things in my life, but having the two of you was my greatest achievement. Never forget that I love you both, and I hope this is enough to support you until you figure out how to survive.
I love you both so much, and I know you’ll make me proud.
Love,
Mom.
Alexander decided to take the money, and put it into a trust fund that was not to be opened by anyone except him. Months passed, and Alex had continued to take on jobs, and fixing up his home. Right after his twenty second birthday, Alex was informed by Blaine about a big job, but it was in America. Alex had debated on taking it, and something told him he should. So, he packed himself a bag, and bought the plane ticket to Collision Falls, Virginia. Alex had only read about America, but never thought he would actually experience it. It was different than England, and he didn’t like it much. It was harder to buy weapons, and bring them into the country. Alex made due, and soon found himself a motel in Collision Falls. It was one of the most populated places for the supernatural. Little did Alex know that he would run into someone from his past...
