The Tough Crowd (Olison/Jax)

Senior year. It had been rocky at the start for Oliver, but now everything seemed to be working out perfectly. He and Mason had actually “broke” up when he returned from England because Mason had “cheated” on him with some boy. It had put Oliver in a rough spot for a while. That’s when he had met Asher. A rather sweet and attractive hybrid. They had met shortly after the break up with Mason, and Oliver had been instantly attracted to him. They had tried the whole dating scene, but Oliver had still been hung up on Mason. Luckily, Asher and he hadn’t gotten too attached to each other when the news had come to light. Asher had been sweet about it, and pushed him back towards Mason. Oliver had a lot to thank Asher for.

Oliver had felt slightly bad about the whole Asher thing, but as it turned out, they were much better as friends. Oliver liked to think of Asher as his best friend since he actually didn’t have very many friends at all. It was weird that he was actually making the most out of senior year instead of just messing around like he had the past few years he had been at the academy. It was crazy to think that a few things could change so quickly. Oliver had to admit, he might have been taking advantage of Mason after the break up. He couldn’t help it. Mason was so easy to persuade. Oliver swore he would stop... Eventually. Maybe not right away. He was still a little salty over the whole cheating thing. Oliver was actually getting a lot better with the whole guilt tripping thing. He didn’t do it nearly as often as when they had gotten back together.

Oliver slipped on a pair of sweats, and simple black v-neck shirt when he looked over at Mason. “You almost ready to go?” It was Saturday night, which meant that he and Mason were going to hang out with Asher in his room for a movie night. Oliver went over to the mini fridge they had in the room, and grabbed the soda, and munchies they had bought for the night. They had promised Asher they would supply goods if he could try to supply the real goods. Once they had everything, the boys left the specialist dorm, and headed towards Asher’s. They walked hand in hand, and when they arrived at Asher’s door, Oliver knocked. He jiggled the handle, but it was locked. With a sigh, Oliver went, and stood behind Mason. He wrapped his arms around the boy, and leaned his chin on Mason’s shoulder. He breathed a sigh against Mason’s neck before kissing his neck playfully. Oliver had promised that they wouldn’t suck face this time, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t have a little fun before he stepped over the thresh hold.

Asher wasn’t surprised at all to open the door and see Mason and Oliver, or Olison as he liked to call them in his head when they were together, with their lips locked. He gave a sideways smile before clearing his throat to make his presence known to the two lovebirds. It was an almost instant reaction as he watched Mason pull away from the kiss and then bury his head in Oliver. Asher just crossed his arms and leaned against the door jam as he waited for Mason to get over his embarrassment. It was a weird thing to see since the boy hardly ever would get embarrassed at being found kissing. But Asher assumed it was more that he surprised the blonde boy with his presence then the actual act of being caught. He’d seen them kiss many times; it wasn’t anything new to him.

After a few moments Asher shook his head. ”Are you two just going to stand out there or are you coming in?” He couldn’t help but give a small chuckle as Mason pulled out of Oliver’s arms and walked past him without glancing at him. Asher came out of his lean and pulled Oliver into one of their infamous bro hugs. He was glad that they were about the same height as there was no awkward bending over slightly. When they pulled out of the hug, he waited for Oliver to step through the threshold before peaking his head outside the door. Seeing nobody out there, he grinned and closed and locked the door again. He didn’t want any stragglers popping in and seeing the boys holding their drinks. They were all underage after all, and alcohol was prohibited on campus.

As soon as he had closed the door, Mason had spoken out. Asher turned to him with a sly grin. His eyes landed on the table where the drinks and chips were before he headed over to the mini-fridge. ”Since you guys provided your share, here’s mine. Nothing too fancy this time. It was a bit harder to get this in. I swear they know what we do now.” As he pulled away from the mini fridge and stood up, he turned to the boys revealing a pack of Coronas. Not enough to get them drunk off their minds, but enough to get each boy buzzed and feeling on top of the world. He closed the fridge with his foot after grabbing three for each of them. After handing them each a drink, he walked over to where the DVDs were. He popped the top on his Corona as he looked at the discs. ”What type of movie were you guys wanting to watch tonight? Horror, comedy, action?”

He paused slightly as he picked up Avengers and seemed to ponder something as he took a swig of his drink. ”Doesn’t the next Avengers movie come out soon?” He turned his head slightly to look at the two other boys over his shoulder.
