PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION::Milo Thormen is played by: Chris Hemsworth He stands around 6' 3" and weighs around two hundred pounds. He works out constantly so he is very muscular, and likes to wear slightly tight shirts just to show that off. He has blonde hair, sometimes dark blonde depending on the light, and he likes to keep it long. Sometimes just the top pulled back, sometimes a full pony tail, and sometimes he leaves it all down, but he hasn't cut it short since he was in high school. His eyes are blue, bright blue, and he likes to have a little scruff of a beard, but he usually keeps it clean shaven since he is a teacher.

GENERAL::
Milo is a very laid back individual. He is incredibly patient and practical, loyal and incredibly protective. He has a bit of a temper occasionally, and can be incredibly stubborn once he makes up his mind about something.

He has a very good understanding of time, so he has almost unlimited patience. When learning a new technique he takes his time and is almost guaranteed to learn it quickly. He also has no problem teaching others, even when it takes them a while to get the hang of it.

He is very practical. He isn't the type to be negative, or really positive for that matter. He keeps up with what is realistic and practical, and what is likely to happen, not what he wishes or is afraid will happen. The only time he bothers to be optimistic is when he knows others are counting on him and he has to keep their hopes up.

He really is quite sarcastic, probably to the point where you may occasionally tire of him. If he were in a book he would be considered the comedic relief. Comedy is his defense mechanism, so the more stressful things get, the more jokes he makes. Especially during fights or a battle, he tends to make plenty of one liners as he cuts people down.

When it comes to the ladies, it all depends on his mood as to what you'll get. If he really likes her and is trying to impress, then you'll get the charming, funny, gentleman. If he's just looking for a one night stand, well, you'll get whatever he thinks you'll go for. If he comes to care for someone though he will go to whatever lengths necessary to keep that person happy and safe.

HISTORY::
Milo grew up in a small town on the coast in Australia, with two loving parents, both of whom were specialists. His father, Johnathan, was an Empath. He could read peoples minds and emotions, but only of people he knew very well. Jessica could create and manipulate electricity.

When Milo came along, John and Jessica were very careful to keep their powers a secret until they learned whether or not Milo would be a specialist as well. They didn't want him to be waiting or expecting to gain powers when it wasn't even definite that he would.

John kept a close eye on his son's thoughts as he grew, and grow eh did. Milo did very well in school. He wasn't overly popular but was never without friends. When he was ten he was watching a movie of some sort, and the main character was throwing knives. Well, Milo got excited and decided he had to try it. So his parents went out that weekend and bought him a simple set of throwing knives and a target. John took Milo out into the back yard and started practicing. Milo loved it immediately, and took every opportunity to practice. By the time he was thirteen he hardly ever missed, as long as the target was in range of a good throw, he never really missed.

Then he began to get bored with stationary targets, so he began setting up moving ones. He set them up and practiced with them for days, but never hit one. He began to get more and more frustrated, and John could feel it from inside the house, so he went outside to see what the problem was. Little did he know what he was about to witness.

Milo was watching the target as it swung back and forth where it hung from the tree. Back and forth, back and forth. Milo was glaring at it. Suddenly it began to slow, and milo watched as it came almost to a complete stop. He threw the knife, and it landed dead center, and it was moving again, just as it had been before. Milo looked at his dad with confusion in his eyes. However, John was anything but confused. He had seen what had happened through his sons eyes using his empathic abilities, and understood perfectly.

John took Milo inside then, and together with Jessica they explained the situation. He explained the powers he and Jessica had, and explained the rest of the supernatural beings in the world. Milo was confused at first, but had no difficulties accepting what his parents told him. His parents enrolled him in the local academy for the supernatural.

Milo loved his life from then on. He trained every day, and made friends of every species. He learned how to use his powers and use them along with his throwing knives. Once he got old enough he left the Academy and went off to college. He went through college just like any other college kid. Enjoyed the parties but still worked hard to get good grades, and finished his schooling along with a few hundred others. He was fully licensed now. He could become a therapist if he wanted to, or teach, or whatever he decided to do.

Eventually he decided to move to America, and ended up here, in Collision Falls with a teaching position. He teaches different classes, Psychology and Philosophy, as well as classes geared specifically towards specialists. He also helps students train, not as a technical instructor, but more of a mentor. He loves helping his students better themselves in any way that he can, and wants to see them all achieve great things with their lives.
