Oliver is a rather lanky kid, and believes himself to be quite the looker. He has short, curly hair. When it gets to be longer, which most of the time he never allows, it can get VERY curly. It's also a dark brown with a hint of blonde when the sun hits it the right way. Oliver has ice blue eyes, and devilishly handsome smile to go with them. He stands at six feet one inch, and has muscles for day. Well, sort of. Oliver is more of a runner than a muscle builder. Oliver has a very peculiar sense of style, and rarely deviates from the style. He tends to wear regular jeans, any kind of shirt will do, a button up shirt a peacoat, and a scarf. He is always wearing scarves. That is the signature Oliver style. It doesn't matter if it is 80 degrees outside, he will wear one.

Common Abilities:

|Fear Inducement| -
Oliver can evoke and increase fear and horror in others causing the target’s brain to release fear-inducing chemicals. Oliver does this by simply looking at someone, and sensing what their fear is (which is done by using his OTHER ability). Oliver will hone in, and generally will start it off slow. He increases paranoia, and essentially changes his target perception causing them see their environment as ominous and Oliver as dark and foreboding, or even seen as a monster. He can hold up the illusion for up to an hour before it begins to drain him. While this is happening, Oliver is temporarily blinded, and has no idea what is going on around him, which is why he does this in the privacy of his dorm, or somewhere no one will find him.

|Fear Sense| -
This is exactly what it sounds like, and Oliver takes great joy in knowing everyone's greatest fears. This is something that Oliver can't turn off, and it just happens. He could be passing someone in the hallway, and would automatically see their greatest fear. It typically is a whisper in his mind, but occasionally can be an image or clusters of images across his vision. With this ability, a downside to it is that when he hears or sees the fear, he is temporarily blinded or deaf. It typically lasts about five minutes, but has been known to last up to an hour.

|Nightmare Manipulation| -
Oliver can enter and manipulate the nightmares of oneself and others, including modifying, suppressing, fabricating, influencing, manifesting, sensing, and observing nightmares. Do to this, Oliver needs to be sleeping as does his target. When he manipulates a nightmare, Oliver is always there. People may not realize who he is, but he is a bit sadistic when it comes to watching the nightmares of others. Most of the time, he doesn't even do anything to the person having the nightmare because they do it to themselves. All he does it plant the seed, and it grows by itself. Now, nightmare manipulation is similar to dream manipulations in a sense. He can pull people into a personalized nightmare, and talk to them. Sometimes he does to taunt people, but most of the time, Oliver never speaks to them. Oliver has been known to pull people into his own nightmares by accident, especially if it is vivid enough.

GENERAL::
Oliver is definitely a guy that most people hate, and he probably hates them too. He isn't someone who wants to make friends, and tries to stay away from the term "friends." He does have a few of them, but it's a rare thing for him. Now, while most people see him as a complete asshole, Oliver does have a sweet side to him. He generally only shows this side to those he believes deserve it. It could also stem from his childhood, and the inability to trust the people around him. Oliver can also be seen as a careless, and a bit stupid because of the things he does. Due to his abilities, Oliver's fear is lowered greatly. He fears almost nothing, and because of this he tends to make stupid choices. Oliver also has a tendency to block out his emotions, and act like things don't bother him when they do. Some see this as a weakness, others see it has a strength. Oliver sees it as survival for himself. If he can pretend that he doesn't care it makes it that much easier to walk away from someone. So, in turn he is very indifferent about how people feel, and could careless if he hurts your feelings.

Another thing about Oliver is that he has the ability to take things that are suppose to be serious, non serious. He very rarely takes things serious in his life, and that could turn out to be his biggest flaw. Because of this, no one takes him seriously other than his sister and few others. While Oliver tends to be the one who makes the jokes in the room, he is also the guy in the room that will be the first to loose his temper. If he looses his temper, you should hide. His abilities are attached to his emotions, and well, there could be nightmares for everyone. Oliver tries to be a good person, and sometimes he does really well. Sadly, most people won't give him the chance because they know what his abilities are. He has taken on the persona of his abilities, and become the person that everyone fears.

HISTORY::
Madeline and Peter King had been married for quite sometime before they decided they wanted to have children. Both of them had been so focused on their careers they kind of forgot about having kids, and starting a family. When Madeline was about thirty, she had their first child, whom they named Oliver. He was quite the beautiful boy, and made everyone swooning over him. It was true to say that they grew up being loved for a moment. It wasn't too long after his birth that Madeline announced that she was pregnant with another child. Everyone was surprised, but happy nonetheless. Deciding that it was for the better, Madeline quit her job to become a stay at home mother to her children. Just as Oliver was about to turn one, his little sister, Bristol was born. Life was good for the family until they hit hard times. Peter lost his job, and sunk into a depression that he would never get out.

Oliver and Bristol were about five and four years old when this happened. Their mother went back to teaching, and was almost never home. Peter was becoming more and more violent, so this lead her to leave the house for longer periods of time. It was during this time that his attention turned towards his children. It was never physical until they grew older, and Oliver grew a voice. Peter would mentally abuse them. He would lock them in an unplugged deep freezer for hours at a time. Oliver would tell Bristol that it was going to be okay. That someone would save them one day, but until then, he'd protect her. When Oliver was about seven when Peter started physically abusing the two of them. Peter typically went for Bristol because she was small, and weaker but Oliver didn't let this happen for long. Oliver would distract Peter with his smart mouth, and take most of the beatings while Bristol went to their secret hiding place. There would be days that Oliver would be unable to go to school because of how beat up he would be, and his mother didn't want to risk people asking questions.

When Oliver was ten years old, he began developing his abilities. He had very little control over his fear inducing and fear sensing abilities when he was that young. One night when his father was on one of his rampages, Oliver accidentally sent Peter into a fear stupor. Oliver and Bristol took to their secret spot, and Oliver tried to explain to Bristol what he did. She was hesitant to believe him, but she accepted what he said to her. When their mother finally came home later that night, things took a turn for the worse. Madeline had no idea what was wrong with her husband just that he was acting crazier than normal. She called for her kids to come out, but they refused to move from their spot. Thinking that Peter had done something terrible to them, Madeline turned to her husband, and killed him. Except, she didn't use any sort of weapon. She used her own ability to do this, and it created a confusion among the police.

Madeline confessed to the murder, still thinking that her children were gone. After a through search of the house, the police discovered the hiding children. Madeline was confused after a moment, but then realized that they had been hiding from both of them. Madeline was never abusive towards her children, but they feared her because she left them with Peter all the time. So ashamed of herself, Madeline kept to her guilty charge, and will spend the rest of her life in jail. She gave guardianship to her mother, who had never known of the abuse going on in her daughter's house. Adeline frequently sent updates on the children to Madeline. Oliver and Bristol lived with their grandmother for all of three years before being sent to a local academy. It was only six months after Oliver turned fourteen that he got kicked out of the academy because of his abilities. Oliver had developed a bad boy personality, a way to shut out everything that had happened to him, and was using his abilities in the worst way. Bristol soon followed suit because she couldn't be without Oliver. The pair became too much for Adeline, so she shipped them to America to live in the town that their uncle was currently living in that had an academy. The two of them got wind when they were sixteen that Adeline had passed away. They flew back to England for a week for her funeral. They also visited their mother for the first time in almost five years. Oliver told her that he hated her, and never wanted to see her again. Since then, Oliver never heard from his mother. When he got back to the academy, Oliver all but forgot about his life in England.
