Roman has bright red hair, which is not natural. She's been rocking the red hair for quite sometime now, and tends to add other colors to it such as blonde, orange, yellow, and pink. To be honest, Roman doesn't even remember her natural hair color anymore, and normally tells people who ask that it is red. Along with her red hair, Roman has bright green eyes. She stands at about five foot five inches, and weighs around one hundred and forty pounds. She is a slim girl with a bit of muscle. She'd be described as a slim, but lean. Roman also has her septum pierced, and several tattoos on her body. Her style is a little different than the average person. She enjoys wearing skinny jeans, and band t-shirts. Roman has a starving artist look to her, and she quite enjoys it. She is always experimenting with her look, and changing how she wears her hair or her make up.

GENERAL::

Roman is a very artsy kind of girl. She loves everything to do with music, and art, and pretty much has revolved her life around it. When she isn't doing something with music or drawing, Roman is typically working or doing something for school. She is very focused, and wants nothing more than to finish what she starts. Roman is definitely the kind of girl who likes to party every now and again, but since she got a second job she hasn't been out as much. While Roman very much acts her age, she has a motherly figure about herself. It might have something to do with the fact that she has raised her young brother since she was a young girl. Roman is rather laid back, and tends to just go where ever the wind decides to take her. She believes that taking risks is necessary in life as long as it doesn't go against your moral code, or endanger your life.

While Roman is full of life, and generally lets nothing bother her, she does have a darker side to her. She has been known to have a mouth on her, and tends to pop off with a witty retort, or say whatever comes to her mind. She is basically filter less, and only filters when she finds it absolutely necessary. Roman also suffers from manic depression, which comes and goes. When it comes, she generally never comes out of her room except for when she has to. She'll ignore her school work, and even trash her artwork. During her depressions, Roman has been known to have a very bad temper. She'll say things she doesn't mean then apologize a few days later after she's calmed down. Roman can also get pretty reckless, this is just an everyday thing. While she can be cautious when it comes to her brother, for herself, she can be pretty stupid. She'll try anything once, and it has gotten her into some trouble. Roman has been known to be a bit of a wild child in her personal life; something that her brother doesn't know a whole lot about. She'd prefer it that he doesn't find out about it either.

HISTORY::

Sadie Johnson and Derek Lancaster were only meant to be a one time thing, but fate decided that this was not going to be the case. After a one night stand, Sadie became pregnant with her first child. For the first six months of the pregnancy, she believed she would be a single mother. Somehow, Derek had heard from a buddy of his that Sadie was pregnant, and it could be his child. Derek didn't want a kid, and when he found Sadie, that's exactly what he told her. He told her that he would pay child support, but he didn't want to see the kid. Sadie agreed, but told him that the baby was getting his last name. When everything was set in stone, Sadie gave birth to a little girl a few months later. Once she gave birth to Roman, Sadie moved into her own apartment, and got two jobs. Her mother was nice enough to watch Roman when she was younger so that Sadie could work both jobs. Anyone who knew Sadie knew that she was miserable as a mother. It wasn't that she didn't love her daughter, but she had never wanted motherhood, and especially this young. (She was only 20 when she had her.)

When Roman was about one, she met Derek for the first time. Of course, she didn't know who he was, but he had decided that he wanted to at least meet her. So, Sadie set it up for him to stop by the apartment. Well, one thing led to another, and they had a one night stand again. Sadie couldn't that Derek knew what he was doing, and just happened to be good looking on top of that. Ironically, a few months later she was announcing she was pregnant again. Things couldn't get more worse. Derek, again, said he wanted nothing to do with the child, and agreed to pay more in child support. He then announced to her that he was moving to Virginia, and would probably never see her again.

Sadie was devestated, but agreed to it. She gave birth months later, and it was a baby boy. Things went back to normal again, but then one day, Sadie never came home to her two children. She disappeared, and left them behind. Her mother has her theories, but she never heard from her again. Roman, who was around four at this time, and Julian, who was almost three, were sent to live with their grandmother for a while. But, Anne was getting too old to raise children that young. She contacted the last known number of Derek's, and actually got a hold of him. He was living the bachelor's life, and almost refused to take custody of his kids. Anne threatened him, and told him to man up. So, Derek came back to Florida to get his kids, and brought them back to Collision Falls, Virginia.

Derek wasn't much of a father to his kids. He was either never home or just didn't care enough to give them the things they needed. Roman learned at a young age to take care of her brother. She learned to cook by the age of six, and how to do laundry at seven. Roman did a pretty decent job taking care of her brother, but she knew that it would have been better if they had real parents. When Roman was ten, she and Julian were ripped out of their father's home, and placed into foster care. Derek got the picture, and started cleaning up his act. It took two years for him to get his kids back, and by then they were more than capable of taking care of themselves. Roman took to anything artsy as a way of expression for everything that had happened to her. Julian took to discovering anything of the supernatural, and even had a "group" of friends who went hunting for them.

When Roman was fifth teen, she got her first job waitressing, and began saving up to get her own car, and saving up for college. She'd also buy Julian things he needed because most of the time Derek was too intoxicated to even know what was going on. Roman even took it upon herself to take Derek's money, and cards to pay for the bills, and buy food. He never noticed, and if he did, he didn't care enough to say anything to her about it. By the time Roman was eighteen, she graduated high school at the top of her class, and had two jobs. She even got a few scholarships, and started attending college. She still has two jobs, and is currently trying to find an apartment to move into with her brother.
