Lots of Questions

I have one more question.

The Academy is for supernatural students only, right? No humans on school grounds?

Thank you Summer for answering my questions and welcoming me. I have come up with a few more questions. I'm the kind of person who has lots of the questions.

At Summer:

1. Which breed of puppy?

At any admins who ever can answer my questions.

1. Does the random accidental magic only happen in childhood? No teen or adult would have accidental magic?
2. Can shapeshifters shift into like a dragon or unicorn or anything else like that? Or does it have to be a normal animal?
3. It says that a shapeshifter can turn into three animals and a hybrid of a shapeshifter may only shift into one animal. If I have a shapeshifter, does my character have to shift into three animals? Or could I have my character have only one, two (when the character is 100% a shapeshifter)?
4. How would a shapeshifter know that they are a shapeshifter? Yes, the parents would be shapeshifter themselves. How the child know if they got the power to shift? Also how would they know what animals they are? Do they find out when they shift into the animals? Would their first shift be accidental or would they mindfully shift?

1. She's a Great Pyrenees. A adorable little fluff ball now, but she's gonna be huge a protecting the goats we own in a year! She's is also very smart already o.o
2. Hmmmmmmm. I guess it would be possible to have a late-bloomer. Especially if the parents and maybe grandparents weren't magic at all. But they'd have to have some type of wizardy far back.
3. Currently, at the moment, shapeshifter a can only shift into everyday normal,domestic, and wild animals. We are going to put up a store at some point and maybe those types of mythical animals could be avaible. You should post your idea in the Store Ideas thread ^.^
4. You can have your shifter have had many shifts as you want! Up to three of course. So if he/she only has one or two, that's perfectly fine ^.^
5. The person would find out by having their first shift which usually happens before or during the age of puberty. When emotions run rampant, usually it would cause at least one shift to show it's self. Most of the time, the first shift is involuntary. Until that point, they also wouldn't know what shifts they have. Once they have that first shift it could be possible to sort of figure out the next one or two if some part of their sense was enhanced for a moment. If that makes sense?
6. Since a grey wolf is a canine, the shifter would be able to communicate with any other canine it came into contact with ^.^

Hi there Doro. Nice to see ya. Thanks for showing interests and asking questions! It helps to see what we missed or anything we should add. (This is kind of a learning process for me.)

As far as all of your questions go, the only ones we are concerned about is the stuff that is covered in the species description which you clearly understand since you were able to tell it back to us which is great. The other stuff - the last two or three questions you asked - we want to leave up to the player so that there is a little freedom. So - if you want your character to automatically know how to fly, you can. If you want it to have to learn, that's fine too. Same with the aging. It doesn't really matter to me, if you want the shift to age with the character that's great, if not that's fine too. I think the average is it probably would, but again I'm not overly concerned with it.

As for life expectancy - unless otherwise stated the life expectancy for the supernatural is the same as a human, with the exception of Wizards and Vampires. Witches/Wizards live 150-200 years on average. Vampires of course are immortal. Hybrids with either of the two species mentioned would have their life expectancy.

I believe it's up to the player. But when I was on another site that had shifters, this is also why I RP my shifters the way I do (it was sort of melded to my kind this way), if it was involuntary the human would have to wait for the shift to calm back down and control it. For the first change, we usually would say that the person blacked out from it and woke up as a human again later on. Basically once they got worn out. You could even have their parents or friend show them how to shift back if it's possible.
