Penelope is very feminine in appearance. she likes playing up her girly side and especially dressing up. She views clothes as her armour that she puts on everyday to face the world. She’s the type of girl who rarely leaves the house without a cute outfit and makeup on. It gives her that extra boost of confidence she needs. She’s rather short, at only 5’3” and makes up for it by wearing heels quite a bit. She’s Scottish, which gives her that classic Scottish pale skin and red hair look. Which she very much loves and tends to play up by wearing lots of blues and greens. She knows what works for fashion wise and plays up her assets.
She tries to hold herself with confidence, head up, back straight, confident steps and all that. She tends to have a bit of a natural swing to her cadence which she plays up when she’s trying to be flirty or feel a little sexy. She is a dancer so she’s quite in shape and on the slender side. She has some muscles but they are more on the lithe side rather than bulky.

Penelope is a sassy little thing. She uses her sarcasm as her armor. Nothing and no one can hurt her if she always has a witty comeback ready. She keeps her true emotions well hidden. She’s been hurt too many times before. It’s rather hard for her to let someone in now. Moving from foster home to foster home tends to do that to people. She’s outgoing, but she tends to keep her friends at a distant. While she’s good at listening to other people’s problems, she doesn’t share her own. She’s very protective of her friends, and loyal too. She just doesn’t let other people take care of her. Even when she really needs it, but she just has to be the strong one.
She’s flirtatious as well and has had quite a few boyfriends. She’s not exactly promiscuous but she’s not innocent anymore either. Penelope is a very curious person. She has a true thirst for knowledge and new things just fascinate her. She’s a lover of life in general. She tries to be positive too, even though her life has been hard. She would still rather lean on the optimistic side. Due to her ADHD she is very energetic and tends to flit from activity to activity all the time. Sitting still is nearly impossible for her and some body part of hers is always moving. She gets excited very easily and if she loves something she will be unabashedly enthusiastic about it.

HISTORY::
Penelope was born to Ashlynn Graham in Edinburgh, Scotland. Ashlynn was only sixteen at the time, but thought that she could care for her daughter. Evidently that didn’t work out so well for her, as a year later she dropped Penelope off outside a hospital. Penelope has no memories of her mother what-so-ever. She was too old to be adopted easily, so instead Penelope was put in the foster care system. From then on she moved around homes quite a lot. For all sorts of reasons. Sometimes a family didn’t want her, sometimes social services deemed a home unsuitable, sometimes it seemed to happen just because. Penelope had a whole range of different kinds of homes.
Some were fine, some were less than fine. As happens with many foster children, a few were abusive. Penelope tried her best to keep looking forward though. Even in the face of the various odd “accidents” that seemed to happen with her. Yet another reason she had a hard time staying in just one foster home. People didn’t like it so much when strange occurrences continued to happen around their home after the new child moved in. Turns out those accidents were Penelope’s magic leaking out. Which eventually lead to a wizard by the name of Jonathan Blair who decided to become her foster father and within a year he adopted her.
He was a teacher at a fancy private school and as such Penny was introduced to a whole new posher world. Of course some of the girls at the school could be quite mean and would tease her about her background. Which only caused Penny to develop an even thicker skin. Eventually she found her good group of friends and started to settle. During this time Jonathan began to teach her how to control her magic and whatnot. Then a bit in to her senior year he got a job at Collision Falls, so off to America both of them went.
