Emi Nakamura is played by: Arden Cho. Emi stands at 5'5" and weighs approximately 120 pounds. Her hair his a dark brown shade and her eyes follow that same color. Unless she is using one of her abilities, then her eyes turn a gold-yellow color. She has a light tan complexion thanks to coming from Korea. Her skin is blemish free, and she adores using makeup to accentuate her features. She is very fashion forward and loves dressing up, even if it's just for class. She normally wears clothing that hugs or shows her curves. Blouses, tank tops, skirts, dresses, and skinny jeans are her main clothes. For shoes she will wear anything from heels to flats. The girly the clothing, the better. There are time when she knows it's not appropriate to wear some of the clothing she deems to revealing and will leave those clothing options for when she is not in class. But don't let her girly appearance fool you, she does know how to kick ass and take names and she has the slight muscle definition to back it up.

GENERAL::
Emi is normally a very kind girl thanks to the way her parents have raised her to treat others. She is exceptionally sweet to those she trusts and will never do anything to wrong them. She can be protective over them in the right scenarios. And although Emi sides herself with Inari and the other zenko foxes, meaning she should always be benevolent, there are times when she falls to the yako side and can become very malicious. This side of her only appears if you have wronged her. The most important thing to her is her freedom. Being locked away or forced to do something makes her automatically try to fight back. And if you try to do that, be careful for what happens when she can fight back. You are likely to get yourself killed.

Apart from that side of her, she also likes to play tricks. But thanks to being on the side of Inari her tricks are harmless. She especially like taking things from people right from under their noses and watching them freak-out for a bit, only to return it moments later without them realizing that either. Her victims are usually men and usually those men she finds need a bit of a lesson as they are a bit too greedy or wrong. If she is not tricking a male, the trick isn’t really that bad and usually rights itself within a few hours.

When drunk (which she is a lightweight), Emi’s ability to hold her human force can wean. It is at these times that she grows a bit careless. It has happened before, and when it happened, her tails and ears appeared as if she had half shifted. When she is once again sober, she feels deeply embarrassed for her actions. This is why she has basically sworn off drinking. Super heightened fear or anger can make her lose control and shift as well. She has never been able to stop a shift when getting scared by a dog or getting super angry.

Emi loves to learn. She has an almost photographic memory and everything she reads and hears she will remember. That’s another reason why you should not wrong her, she will remember. But although she likes to learn, do not be fooled into thinking she is a nerd. She is also a huge flirt and would most likely spend her time talking to a guy instead of studying for a test. She is also not as innocent as she seems and there was a time when she first came to America and slept her way around. That was until her family realized what she was doing and threatened to find her and bring her back. Now she hides her ways. She has never yet been in love, though. Ever since coming to the school, she has stopped those habits. Now she is actually trying to find someone to fall in love with. Although she isn't forcing it either. It is what it is.

HISTORY::
Emi’s history started off with how her mom, Asuka, and her father, Hiro, met. You see it was the legends of Kitsune’s that brought Asuka to Hiro’s city. Asuka had had to run from her home once people realized what she was. But her home city only saw the wrong things Kitsune’s did. They never looked at the good. So when they came to her house with weapons and threatening her life, she ran. It was a few months later when Asuka would meet Hiro. She was in the forest near his city and was walking through it in her fox form. Little did she know that it was hunting season and traps were set up throughout the whole area.

One of these traps sprung when her foot set upon it and when it did, it clamped around her foot. She cried out in agony and thought that this would never turn out good. Someone would find her and take advantage of her incapacitated state, chop off her tails, and she would cease to exist. But…it didn’t turn out that way. It was a few hours later when Hiro came across the, at that time, three tailed fox. Sure Hiro had heard of the legends of Kitsune’s, but that’s all he thought they were. Seeing one right in front of him though made him freeze. Asuka had been crying in agony until Hiro appeared, but as she saw him the shock that he showed caused her to slow her cries to whimpers. When he came closer, she tried getting away only to make the injury worse. But he started speaking in a calm and reassuring voice as he told her he was just going to set her free. All the legends he heard of them told him that if you helped one, they felt obligated to help you, and he was hoping this was actually true.

So he let her go. And without a second glance, she took off into the forest. He watched in sadness. It was a few weeks later when they would meet again, but this time in human form. Hiro hadn’t left Asuka’s mind in the way he had been so caring to her. And this caused her to want to find him. When she finally did, things only went up for the two. They soon fell in love and not wanting Hiro to know what she was, she allowed her body to age as any other human girl would age. A few years after meeting the two wed on the night of a full moon. It had taken some convincing, since she couldn’t tell him that it was tradition for Kitsune’s to wed on those kinds of nights, but it all ended up well. A year after that they had their first child, Michio. A few years after him came Emi. And a few years after Emi, Keiko was born. All three children were healthy and beautiful. And within the first year of each of their lives Asuka knew they were KItsune’s just like she was.

The one thing Asuka was glad for was the fact that her children wouldn’t start showing their signs of being special until they reached their teenage years. She had all that time to figure out how to break it to them and what exactly to do to help them along. The three siblings grew up as thick as thieves. They were always helping each other out and always protecting one another no matter the situation. As Michio finally reached his teenage years, Asuka showed him what she was and what he would be. Surprisingly, he took it really well and even let her know that he would help her tell his sisters when their time came to find out what they were. So a few years went on and Emi was reaching of age. But all thoughts of having to hide it from her father flew out the door about a month before her mother would tell her what she was.

Hiro had been in a tragic accident, during his job, which took his life from the family. For months, even years for Asuka, the family grieved. And because of the pressing issue of no longer having Hiro, Asuka let it slip from her mind that her two daughters still had no idea what they were. It was that slip that, in a moment of absolute grief after the funeral, that Asuka shifted into her fox half when they got back home. Michio was able to stop his sister’s screams and in a rushed panic let them know what their mother was and what they were. The only one who didn’t take it too well was Keiko. But she would come to love the abilities that being a Kitsune gave her. For awhile this for the family were dreary. Not long after Hiro died, Asuka’s grieving made them have to run. Her fox form had almost caused her to shift in front of everyone. Although she could make one person forget about her, making a whole village forget about a girl shifting would make her exhausted. With her emotions the way they were, that was too much of a risk.

So they left. For years they went village hopping. They never stayed in one place for too long. While her daughters and son aged naturally, until the age of 18 in which they let their bodies stay young, Asuka allowed her body to stay the same as it was when Hiro died, which made her appear as a 35-year-old woman. Throughout this whole time, Emi was the only one who ever took full advantage of her powers. She would shift into her fox form in order to steal chickens and other things for her family to survive. The only one who ever figured this out was Michio, and he never told her mom. As time went on, Emi started changing. The once sweet girl was now sleeping around with guys to get things her family might need. But it was never just for that. She also enjoyed the pleasure it caused her. It was like every time she slept with someone new, she would leave feeling stronger than before. When she would leave she would swipe a couple dollars, some bread, or something small that they would never notice was gone.

This went on for years unnoticed by her mom. And when her mom finally did realize what was going on she commanded Emi to stop the terrible behavior. Since her mom was in possession of her star ball, Emi hadn’t wanted to lose it and her mom was very responsible, Emi had no choice but to listen. And so that behavior stopped. Emi became the once very smart and logical girl she once was. But she felt restless. So very restless. She didn’t want to just follow her mom and siblings around for her whole life. She wanted to learn. To find out about all the things that went on in the world. With knowing this, Asuka stopped at a large city in Japan where three new kids and their mother would hardly go noticed. She enrolled all three kids in a high school there. But they weren’t going in there cold turkey. Their mother had taught them a lot of the knowledge they would have to know. Since Emi and Michio looked the same age, their mother enrolled them in their last year as twins. But Keiko looked only 16 so she enrolled her in her second year as their younger sister.

Time passed and Emi was graduating a year later. Although her mother thought that would quell her thirst for knowledge, the year in an actual school only heightened it. Wondering if it would be best for her daughter to go to a whole new place to learn, Asuka started trying to find a place in the United States where her daughter can go and be safe. Michio started helping his mom out. It took awhile for the two to find a suitable place for Emi that she would be able to be safe and sound at. But after a few years, Emi starting to fall back into old habits of thieving and tricks, Asuka found Collision Falls Academy. At first she was a little hesitant. Sure. The Kistune knew about vampires, shifters, specialists, and wizards. But this school also had a different species. One that wasn’t really known. The hybrids. But Asuka wasn’t a person to judge. After all, she had fallen in love with a human so she could understand the different species falling in love with each other. Asuka was able to get into contact with the Headmistress and set it in stone that Emi would be arriving to the school in a few months. The head of the school also let her know that Emi could stay in Collision Falls Academy as long as she wanted since Emi was so interested in learning.

So Asuka let her daughter know where she would be going off too. There was only one condition to allowing her daughter to go off to a new place. Emi had to be extremely careful about her star ball. Since Emi was going across the world, her mother was letting the star ball fall back into her daughters own hands. For Emi to have her freedom back, made her very excited. But she knew she would have to be careful. Her mom had let the Headmistress know exactly what they were and what they were capable of. Although the head knew what she was, in order to protect Emi from others she was entering the school as a hybrid. A few months later Emi was heading off to America. It was a very tearful goodbye, as she had never been separated from her siblings and mother for more than a few hours. But they promised to write each other. And after that goodbye, Emi was off and going aboard a plane. The plane ride made her nervous and the whole time she was trying to get herself to go to sleep so it would be over sooner than what it really would be.

But when she finally arrived in America, everything over there amazed her. It took a few days for her to actually find the want to go to Collision Falls and the academy. When she finally did though, she couldn’t help but stare in awe at the buildings and people. There were so many different people. So many different classes. The buildings were built differently. The species she had never interacted with and to finally interact with other supernaturals was amazing. Emi didn’t take long to fit in and of course old habits started appearing again. She started pulling her little stunts of swiping invaluable things when it would get boring. But she liked it there. Enjoyed it really. And when the time came to enroll for the second time she took the chance. She is now starting her second year and enjoying it just as much as she did at the beginning.
