Night Out on the Town (Victoria)

It was rare that Victoria ever went out on the town. Actually, she never went out on the town because she was never invited out. Her weekends usually ended up with her watching Netflix, and stuffing her face. It surprised her when Allie came up to her Friday night, and asked if she wanted to join her and few other witches to Falls Alley for a girls night. This would be the first time Tori had gotten invited out with the other witches. Victoria raised her brow at the girl, and shrugged. "Sure, but I don't think I have an outfit." Allie laughed, and said, "Let me look in your closet after class. We'll find you something." Tori watched as the girl walked off, and frowned at herself. Was she really going out tonight? Victoria turned around, and headed off towards her room. Once she got in her room, she took a quick shower than air dried her hair. She had to make sure it curled just the right way.

After she had fixed her hair Victoria went on to look at what little make up she had. She bit her lip slightly. Should she even wear make up? She wasn't much of a make up person anyways, and she was terrified that the girl's would laugh at her attempt to wear it. No. Victoria didn't care about what other people thought of her. She took out the make up bag, and began testing different shades of lipstick and eye shadow. She didn't even know what she was wearing yet, so how was she suppose to plan her make up? Victoria decided to go with a more natural look, and heavy on the eyeliner. After she was done, she walked to her closet, and sighed. She didn't have any type of partying clothes. After staring at her closet for what seemed like an eternity, a knock at the door made Tori jump, and snap out of her daze. When she answered it, Allie and three others girls were standing at her door. They were all dolled up, and looked fabulous.

Allie and the others walked into the room, and they all had big grins on their faces. "So, I think we may have found you the perfect outfit!" Tori raised her brows in surprise. They hadn't even looked at her closet yet. How could the possible know? Jane, another girl, stepped forward, and had a beautiful but simple dress in her arms. "I've never worn it before. It just wasn't my kind of dress," she said handing it to Victoria. Allie shooed her into the bathroom to put it on, and surprisingly it fit. When she walked out all the girls whistled, and complimented her. Allie quickly went through Tori's closet, and found an old pair of heels for her to wear. A few moments later, they were leaving campus, and headed towards a club called Virtigo. About half way towards Falls Alley, Allie whipped around and started passing out little plastic things. Once Tori was given hers, she realized that it was a fake ID. She just looked at it for a moment, then Tallie leaned over, and whispered, "For drinks!" Tori nodded, but still felt a little confused.

She wasn't entirely sure that she would drink, but it was nice to know that she had the ID in case she wanted too. When they walked in, the club was already in full swing. Tori followed the girls, and watched as they ordered drinks from the bartender. Allie took it upon herself to order all of them a few rounds of shots, then disappeared onto the dance floor. The other girls soon followed suit, but Tori lingered by the bar. Her eyes scanned the crowd, and she had actually spotted Chase. She was pretty positive it was him anyways. He was dancing with some girl, and somewhere inside her, she felt jealous. She huffed, and turned around to order a drink. She ordered drink after drink until she felt somewhat numb. She had a strange sensation running through her. Tori turned to walk towards the dance floor when a guy walked towards her with a smile. She smiled back, and flipped her hair behind her shoulder.

The guy was fairly tall, and had sandy blonde hair with pretty hazel eyes. He looked the total opposite of Chase, and that's exactly what she wanted. He took her hand, and led her towards the dance floor. His hands went to her waist, and he pulled her close. Tori put her arms around his neck, and they began to sway to the music. "I'm Ben. I just wanted you to know that you look stunning tonight." Tori blushed, and said, "Thanks. I'm Tori. You don't look so bad yourself." During the next few songs, Ben kept whispering compliments into her ear, and made her laugh. Around the fourth song, she whispered that she needed another drink, so he led her towards the bar, and they ordered a few more rounds of shots. Tori was feeling great. She wasn't sure why didn't party more often.

There was a fire in her belly from doing so many shots, and somewhere in the back of her mind, the logical side was telling her to slow down. Sadly for the logical side, Tori didn’t listen to it. Ben was an attractive guy, and his smile was nice. He had almost managed to get Chase and the other girl out of her mind, but he was still there. Still bugging her, and it needed to go away. As she was about to turn, and order herself another drink, the bartender had handed her one. “I didn’t order this!” she told him. He shrugged, and walked away. Tori was confused, and turned to look at Ben. “Did you order this for me?” She asked him with confusion. Ben shook his head no, and shrugged. “Girls like you get free drinks at bars all the time. Take it as a compliment,” he whispered in her ear. Tori looked at the drink again, and shrugged. She took a sip of it, and it was delicious. She would have to ask the bartender what it was called.

Ben pressed up against Tori, and kept talking about how beautiful she was. She frowned, but said nothing about it. It was nice to be called beautiful, but it was starting to get annoying. The logic in her brain was screaming that this guy wasn’t who she wanted, but she continued to ignore it. “After this we should go back to my place,” Ben said in her ear. Tori jerked back, and laughed nervously. “I’m not so sure. I came here with friends,” she said vaguely. Now, where were those friends of hers? They needed to come, and save her from having to go home with a stranger. At least she had enough sense to know that would be a bad idea. “Oh come on. I know you life me,” he said to her. Tori laughed again, and said, “You’re nice, but I’m not the kind of girl who hooks up.” Ben looked like he was starting to get irritated when someone walked up to them, and cleared their throat.

Victoria turned to see Chase standing there looking like a tall glass of water. For a few seconds she couldn’t find words to use, but quickly recovered. “I was just out with a few friends. I thought it would be nice to get out,” she told him casually. She glanced over to Ben, who was starting to look agitated by the interruption. “No-” she was in mid senstence when Ben interrupted with a “Yes.” Well, that was awkward. Tori laughed, and said, “Uh, Ben this is Chase. He and I go to school together.” Ben still didn’t lighten up. Tori wasn’t sure what he deal was. She could feel him shifting closer, and slipped his hand into her own. Tori looked down in confusion. Why was he holding her hand? Victoria had the urge to shake his hand away, but she didn’t want to piss him off. She didn’t need to be an empath to feel the anger rolling off him in waves. “Why don’t you run along pup,” he spit at Chase.

"Oh no," she groaned.

There were certain things that were expected when going out to a club. Victoria didn’t know what these things were, but she was starting to find out rather quickly. She could feel the anger rolling off Ben, and honestly it was ruining whatever buzz she had. She had a feeling she would be getting sober rather quickly with Ben and Chase. She couldn’t very well let them go at each other in a room full of people. Victoria watched Chase closely, and was rather relieved he had shown up. She could tell that Ben didn’t take rejection well. That’s exactly what he would have gotten from Tori. She wasn’t interested in going home with anyone. All she had wanted was to have a good time dancing, and drinking. She wasn’t a hook up kind of girl, and Ben didn’t seem to understand that.

So, Chase showing up at been a relief for her. She could dodge Ben’s insistence for a few minutes longer. Of course, Chase coming up to her in public had been puzzling for her as well. Sure, they had been sharing a bed for the past week or so, but she didn’t think he wanted anything to do with her outside of the bedroom. The whole thought was odd for her to think, but it had been the only way she could get some sleep. Tori wasn’t denying that she didn’t enjoy Chase, and his company. Which most people would think she was crazy. He wasn’t the nicest guy in the room, but there had been a weird connection with him. It helped that he was mildly attractive. Okay, more than mildly, but she wasn’t about to admit that out loud.

Victoria watched as Chase stood a little taller, but Chase had nothing on Ben height wise. She didn’t underestimate Chase though. He was broad, and had a lot of anger. She didn’t need to be psychic to know that much. She went to say something to try, and bring tensions down, but Chase had already been speaking. Her mouth snapped closed, but a small laugh had escaped her lips. She tried to cover the laugh with a cough, but it didn’t seem to fool Ben. “One shift doesn’t mean anything. I’d still kick your ass, boy.” Tori frowned at Ben. Why was he being so rude? It wasn’t like she was in a relationship with him. With either of them for that matter. She huffed, and shook her head slightly. “Hey, I’m no one’s property here.” she hiccuped out.

Tori had a feeling that her words weren’t being heard by either boy. Ben dropped her hand, and took a step towards Chase in a threatening manner. Victoria had a flare of anger burst through her. How dare he? Victoria let out a full on laugh when Chase told Ben to fly away little birdy. Okay, so she really didn’t mean to laugh at his shifts. Everyone was unique when it came to their species, but seriously? He was trying to act tough when he had two of the most annoying shifts ever. Tori knew that Chase would be able to take care of himself, but if Ben got any closer Tori would have to step in. It wasn’t but a few seconds after she had thought this that Ben did in fact step closer to Chase. Their chests almost touching, and she decided that she had to intervene. She wedged herself in between the two of them.

Her hands slapped onto Ben’s chest as she glared up at him. “It’s time for you to go. Thanks for the dance, but I’m not interested.” Ben glared past her at Chase. She thought for a moment he might try something with her standing in between them, but instead he just stormed away, but not before saying, “You’re nothing but a tease anyways, bitch.” Tori huffed, but before she could say anything he stormed off. Tori watched him go before muttering under breath a simple itching spell on the boy. Her attention turned back to Chase. “Uh, sorry about him.” she mumbled.
